I've lost just over 12 pounds in the two weeks that make up stage 1. This number is way more than I, or the diet, anticipated. This week's 6 pound plus number was helped by a travel day (I always under eat when I fly) and shifting time zones (I skipped dinner last night because of it.
 
I'm entering stage 2 away from home but with loving support. Tiffany and I went grocery shopping yesterday and she had oatmeal with me this morning. We have plans to cook some of the recommended recipes as well.
 
That said, I am so looking forward to restaurant food during my stay here in Atlanta.
 
I also wish all these wing shacks would stop taunting me.
